How It Works

STEP 1 - Instant Valuation Form

The instant valuation form is where you start. It is located on our Home Page on the left hand side (Figure 1). The form is designed to give you an instant quotation of your laptops worth, as soon as you have entered the details about your laptop.



Pressing the field in the valuation box will reveal a 'How To' box on the right hand side of the website. This box will explain how to find out that specific detail about your laptop. For example, if you can not find the Brand of your laptop, pressing the Brand drop down box will reveal the instructions on how to find out what Brand your laptop is (Figure 2).

Please make sure the valuation form is accurately filed out so that we can give a precise quote of your laptop. Mistakes will be deducted from the quotation once the laptop is received. The valuation form cannot equate condition and damages, so please bear in mind that condition and damages will be accounted for in a re-quote once the laptop is received.

STEP 2 - Collection Form


Once the valuation form is completed, you will be presented with the Collection form (Figure 3). Please make sure the details you enter here are correct, as the phone number you enter is what we will contact you on, the email address is needed for the postal labels we send you, and the address is needed for the collection of the items you are selling to us.





STEP 3 - Phone Call

Once your details are received you will be contacted immediately from one of our friendly staff members, who will step you through the next steps of the process. They will confirm all your laptop details and contact details, as well as a suitable collection date for your laptop to be collected. The item can be collected from your home, or work place, depending on what is most convenient for you.


STEP 4 - Packaging

When getting your laptop ready for collection, please follow the below steps for ensuring your laptop is completely secure and will not be damaged in transit.

1. Gather your laptop and its charger, and any accessories that are applicable.
2. Wrap your laptop securely so that it can withstand any of the shocks or nocks from transit between you and WeBuy-Laptops.co.uk
3. Put your wrapped Laptop, charger and accessories into an appropriate box. Be sure to pad both underneath and above the laptop with Bubble Wrap or scrunched up News Paper to fill any of the available space remaining after you laptop is inside the box. This is to ensure that the Laptop does not move about inside the box during transit
4. Seal the box with some tape to ensure it is not opened, or does not fall open.

5. Stick the label that was emailed to your email address to the top of the box. Make sure it is appropriately affixed to the top of the parcel to make sure it does not come detached from the parcel.
