Quotes and Payment

1. Where WeBuy-Laptops agrees to purchase your equipment you will be paid the amount quoted to you via email or phone after you have requested a quote, as long as your laptop or any other electronic device (and any of its accessories or related material) was accurately described.

2. Where WeBuy-Laptops agrees to purchase your items and equipment you will only be paid the amount quoted to you if you filled out the valuation form correctly and exactly to the websites requirements. The website does not deduct any of the cost of damage from your quote, and expects your laptop to be in excellent condition. When your laptop is not in excellent condition, the discount on your quote, due to the damages on your laptop, will be calculated by one of our technicians once having fully assessed your laptop and/or equipment and all costing will be presented to you in a secondary quote. The quote given to you by our website is an estimate, and cannot be taken as an actual quote.

3. Every laptop is thoroughly checked by a qualified technician upon arrival. If the laptop was accurately described with no damage or faults the quote suggested by our website will be fulfilled. If any information was false or was inaccurately described then your quote will differ from the quote given on the website. Customers can request that their equipment and items be returned back to them, at the cost of shipping the item to the customer (£20). We reserve the right to reject any laptop upon arrival. Laptops rejected will be promptly shipped back to the customer, at the cost of shipping to the customer.

4. When we assess the cost of your laptop we base our quoting on factors like its Age, Make, Model, Wear and tear, Repair costs, Current Market Value and Specifications.

5. If you describe your laptop incorrectly, or it arrives with any faults that you have not informed us about, we will issue a re-quote. This re-quote will result in a reduced price for your laptop depending on the severity of the faults or the incorrect description of the laptops specifications.
If you do not accept the re-quote, the laptop will be returned to you but you will be subject to a £20 postal fee, which would have to be paid by you before we can return your laptop to you.

6. Should we, upon inspection of your laptop or other device, decide to offer you a lower price than originally quoted, you will have five days to either accept or reject that new price quote. If you fail to accept the price quote within five days, or if you reject the price quote prior to the elapsing of five days, we will return your laptop or device to you at your expense or you will be given the opportunity to arrange your own collection.

7. Quotes presented on the website. All such initial quotes are pending our evaluation of your laptop and no binding offer is made until we have had a chance to inspect the laptop or other device that you send to us. We reserve the right to refuse to offer to purchase any item that you send us, and to cancel any quote made.

8. All amounts will be paid in GBP (£) sterling by Ccheque, PayPal or Bank Transfer. This may take up to fourteen business days from the date on which your laptop (or any other electronic gadget) is inspected at our site. No quote we make is binding upon us until we receive your laptop and inspect it. We aim to complete our checks the same working day of receipt of any item.

Postage and Packaging

1. You must appropriately package the goods you send us in order to protect them from harm during the shipping process. You are solely responsible for any harm that results from poor packaging.

2. If a collection date is missed, we can charge £10 for the recollection of your laptop. This can be paid prior to collection, or will be deducted from your quote.

4. We can not be made responsible for any damage, or loss, caused by the postal or courier company.

5. Postal insurance can be purchased by the customer at their expense.

6. Free collection of your items are made to the customers convenience, though customers can arrange for their own courier to deliver their laptop, all laptops must be accounted for prior to sending an item, and we can not be held responsible for missing parcels not arranged by us or collected by our courier.

7. You agree to ship your laptop within 7 days of the quote offering. We cannot be held responsible for shipping issues. We also recommend insurance and tracking when shipping your laptop. We are not held accountable for lost or stolen laptops while in transit.

8. You must appropriately package the device you send us in order to protect it from harm during the shipping process. You are solely responsible for any harm that comes to the device you send us if you fail to appropriately package the device prior to sending it.

9. The customer can not cancel a collection once it has been booked. If customer wants to cancel the collection of their goods, fails to meet collection requirements or misses a collection, we will charged by the courier and then we will invoice customers for this charge. If customer fails to meet collection requirements or misses a collection and wishes to re-appoint a collection for their items, the said invoiced charge will be deducted from the customers quotation given once the item is received.

10. Sending your item to us. You are solely responsible for the risk of loss or damage of/to your property while it is being shipped to us and while it is shipped from us to you, should we return the item to you.

Transfer of Ownership

You must own the right, title and all legal interest in the laptop or other items you send us. Your sale and or shipment of any such item must not violate any law or regulation. You may not unlawfully infringe any intellectual property, trademark, copyright, patent, software, license or other legal right or restriction via your shipping or selling of the shipped item. The item you ship must be free of all legal restrictions that would affect the value of the item, restrict your legal right to transfer ownership of the item (including the item itself, software present on the item, or hardware on or inside the item). The item you send (including all related materials, software and add on hardware) may not be counterfeited, stolen or contain harmful or offensive content of any nature. You agree to hold us harmless and indemnify us from any and all loss of any nature, including fees, costs, judgments, liens and reasonable fees arising from any threatened or actual legal action should you violate this term and condition of this Agreement.

Legal title of your device passes to us when we agree to pay you the originally quoted amount or you agree to accept a lower offer that we make to you. Title for all devices accepted for recycling passes to us when you agree to allow the device to be recycled. All decisions about whether or not we purchase your device and for what amount are final. Any offer to purchase your laptop that we make is a non-transferable offer and also expires if not accepted by you in a timely manner. At any time we may decide, without prior notice, to discontinue purchasing any particular or all items.

Personal Information and Data

Data Removal: We will permanently destroy any data on any device we receive unless you opt for our Data Copy service – the cost of this service starts at £49, and will have to be paid in full to us before we release your data, or pay your quote. JOIN

The details that you enter on our website, and any details we may collect of yours, will not be sold, exchanged or shared with any other persons/company/affiliate, but may be used by one of our related organisations or subsidiaries that my contact you with special offers that may be of interest to the customer. The emails can be opted out of, by simply calling us, or replying to the email address.
